About laboratory
The Space Exploration Laboratory was established within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Wroc?aw University of Science and Technology, under the Department of Machine and Vehicle Design and Research. The Laboratory conducts advanced research and development activities in the field of space engineering, with particular emphasis on the mechanics of granular materials, regolith handling systems, in-situ resource utilization (ISRU), and the structural dynamics of space systems. Its mission encompasses the design, modeling, and experimental validation of technologies dedicated to extraterrestrial surface operations, contributing to international efforts in sustainable space exploration and the advancement of engineering solutions applicable both in space and on Earth.
