Research and Services

Space Exploration Laboratory provides research and engineering services for industry and academia in two domains: regolith handling with the Discrete Element Method (DEM) and space-structure simulation using the Finite Element Method (FEM). We calibrate DEM materials to lunar/Martian simulants, model excavation, conveying, sieving and wear, and design hopper, chute and tool geometries that resist clogging under reduced gravity. Our FEM team predicts static, dynamic and thermo-mechanical responses of lightweight structures, performs modal, random-vibration and shock analyses, and supports test correlation. Deliverables include validated models, design trade studies, prototypes, and concise reports—ready for procurement, qualification, and mission reviews

R&D of space equipements for extraction, processsing and handling of  extraterrestrial mineral

We are speciallized in numerical end experimental testing of load carrying structures of space components and equipement. Our main specialization is structural dynamics

Geotechnical aspects and equipement of lunar regolith

IN SPACE MANUFACTURING

The only way for deep space exploration is utilisation of resources In-Situ so manufactuing in microgravity, vacuum and extreeme temperatures conditions
